Parazole is a broad-spectrum oral suspension liquid wormer used for the treatment of domestic dogs and cats that are infected with immature and mature stages of worms of the stomach and respiratory tracts. The wormer is also suitable for puppies and kittens from 2 weeks of age and pregnant bitches. It is recommended to worm your dog and cat with Parazole Oral Suspension 4 times a year to control outbreak of worms.

This easy to give liquid is effective against Roundworm. Puppies and kittens can be born with roundworm as it can pass to them through their mother's milk. Tapeworm has a segmented appearance and can be gotten by ingesting fleas or rodents that have been infected with the worm. Hookworm is much more common in dogs than cats, it can also be passed from the mother's milk and can be ingested through soil or substances where the eggs are present. Finally, Lungworm can be gotten by the dog or cat ingesting slugs, snails, frogs and rodents.

If you think your dog or cat might have worms here are some signs to look out for: a bloated stomach, weight loss, increased appetite, scratching or rubbing of the rear, or you can see the eggs in their feces. You can give the liquid orally or with food. There is no starvation process needed. There is a 12ml measuring syringe provided with the pack and also a syringe adapter provided with the pack for easy insertion into the the neck of the bottle.

Administer orally or mix in feed. The suspension can be given using the 12ml measuring syringe provided in the package. A syringe adapter (bung) is also provided in the package for insertion in the neck of the bottle before use.

Gloves should be worn to avoid skin contact with the product.

Dosing Procedure using the measuring syringe:

1. Estimate the bodyweight of dog or cat accurately to ensure correct dosing. Refer below for correct dosage amount

2. To insert the syringe adapter (bung): Push down and unscrew bottle top. Position the syringe adapter (bung) and cap over the bottle opening. Push down firmly and screw cap into position. Syringe adapter (bung) should now be flush with the top of the bottle neck

3. Shake bottle well before use. Push down and unscrew the bottle top. Insert the nozzle of the measuring syringe into the hole in the bung by gently pushing

4. Turn the bottle/syringe upside down. Pull the syringe plunger out until the plunger corresponds to the required dose

5. Turn the bottle right way up and with a twisting movement separate the measuring syringe from the bottle

6. Push the plunger to empty the contents of the syringe directly into the mouth of the animal or onto the food. Good mixing of the product in food is advisable if it is to be given in this way

7. Depending on the dose required repeat steps 3-6

8. Replace bottle top after use


Routine treatment of adults dogs and cats: A single does at a dose rate of 100mg/kg which is equivalent to 1ml per 1kg bodyweight.

Weaned puppies and kittens under six months of age and lungworm in cats:

A single dose for three consecutive days at a dose rate 1ml per 2kg bodyweight.

Puppies should be treated every 2 weeks until 3 months of age and then every month until 6 months of age and then every 3 months thereafter.

Pregnant bitches: 1ml per 4kg bodyweight daily from day 40 of pregnancy continuously for approximately 25 days. This is equivalent to 25mg Fenbendazole per kg of bodyweight daily.

Regular treatment every 3 months is advisable to prevent infection of children by the larvae of ascarids of dogs and cats.

Do not store above 25 degrees celcius.

Do not freeze.
