Before placing the ornament in your tank, wash with lukewarm water to remove any dust or dirt.
Every 2 – 4 weeks clean algae off of the ornament to prevent build-up.
Always ensure that the ornament is suitable for the fish in your aquarium, i.e: The holes in the hull of a ship are big enough for your fish to swim through without getting stuck.
All ornaments which have an air flow function will need the appropriate tubing in your possession or purchased in order to be used with an air pump. This tubing is ideal for such a purpose. An air pump can also be purchased. These air pumps are available for different sizes of tanks.
