Pet Retail Specialist 

Equipet is a pet, equestrian and outdoor clothing retailer with stores in Navan, Ashbourne and Drogheda and an online store at www.equipetstores.com 

We now require a pet retail specialist for our Ashbourne Store. 

Duties will include: 

• Sales and advising customers and delivering excellent customer service
• Till operations
• Controlling and ordering stock
• Merchandising / displays
• Feeding and welfare of all pets instore
• Day to day general duties

 
The ideal candidate will be customer focused, ambitious, with the ability to work on their own initiative.  You will also be expected to learn other aspects of the business to ensure a broad knowledge of the overall Equipet concept.  Previous experience in retail with a knowledge of merchandising skills would be a distinct advantage.

Equestrian Retail Specialist

 We now require an equestrian retail specialist for our Drogheda Store. 

Duties will include: 

• Delivering excellent customer service
• Giving advice and recommendations to customers
• Controlling and ordering stock
• Merchandising / displays
• Day to day general duties
• Fitting protective equipment
 

The ideal candidate will be customer focused, ambitious, with the ability to work on their own initiative.  You will also be expected to learn other aspects of the business to ensure a broad knowledge of the overall Equipet concept.  A broad knowledge of horses, tack, horse riding clothing and accessories is essential.  Previous experience in retail with a flair for creating displays and developing themes throughout the store would be a distinct advantage.

Stockfile Administrator Initial 9 Month Contract

Location: Drogheda 

Equipet Retail Ltd are a pet and equestrian and outdoor clothing retailer with stores in Navan, Ashbourne and Drogheda and online store at www.equipetstores.com 

 We now require a Stockfile Administrator to commence June 2012 for an initial 9 month contract which may lead to a full time position. 

Duties will include:

• Preparation & setting up of all new stock codes
• Preparation and setting up of all instore promotions
• Preparation of Point Of Sale for Instore Promotions
• Liaising with EPOS Software provider to maximise efficiencies
• Maintenance of all supplier pricefiles
• Ensure all stock items on sale instore scan correctly
• Analysis and reporting of store margins
• Maintenance and running Store Loyalty Program
• Learn and understand the complete process from Purchase Order placement to Goods Received.

The candidate must be proficient in Excel and have previously worked with stockfiles in a retail environment.  They will give examples of situations where they found more efficient ways of completing tasks using Excel.
